Resolved Question: LG DA-5620 - Unable to connect a Wii console through it to an overhead BENQ projector. Am I missing something?

A friend has asked me to help him. Problem is he has no manual for the DVD Home entertainment system. The DA-5620 is connected fine to the overhead projector as I have been able to play a DVD on to a large screen. The Wii console has been connected to the Video 1 (and the sound works) yet we cannot get a picture from the projector. Without the LG manual we are a bit stuck. I have tried pressing the by pass button on the remote control - without much success. Has anyone any idea what may be wrong please more

Resolved Question: A problem with my Samsung T200HD?

I just bought a BenQ e1050t camera and tried to connect it to my Samsung T200HD tv. Here's what the camera's manual is telling me: Connecting the camera to an AV system You can play files in your camera with an AV system, such as a TV or projector. To connect the camera to an AV system: 1. Connect the end of the smaller plug of the AV cable to the camera. 2. Connect the yellow video plug and the white audio plug of the AV cable to a video-input jack and an audio-input jack (left channel) on your AV system. 3. Turn on the AV system, and then switch to the AV source connecting to the camera. 4. Turn on the camera. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to operate the camera via the TV or projector screen. Ok, I managed to connect it with the TV but when I try to play something from the camera ... the TV shows it in black & white. I put the yellow wire in the Y input port of the tv's component in and the white wire in the L-Audio port of the tv's component in. What am I doing wrong here?nvm, I found the problem I don't have RCA connectors on the TV more

Resolved Question: Which resolution should I be setting my blu-ray player at?

I am playing blu-ray's through my Sony BDP-S350 into my Benq W500 projector which has a max resolution of 720p so I was wondering what the output video resolution should be set at on my blu-ray player..720p or 1080p. Just wanted to know if there would be any difference. Oh by the way I have tried both using both settings and haven't noticed any difference except for the fact that when my blu-ray player is set at 1080p there is the occasional flicker...usually only on the menu's but I haven't noticed any flicker when it is set at 720p more

Resolved Question: The projected image from my BenQ projector has developed a blue edge, which is slowly enlarging.What is it?

The rest of the image is fine. The projector has had about 200 hours use in 3 years - photos and presentations only, not videos. I know nothing about how these things work, so have no idea what has gone wrong, or if it is repairable. Any advice welcome. Jennifer more

Resolved Question: HDMI digital sound wont work with my Surround Sound and Projector setup?

I have a benq w500 projector capable of 1080p and not used for sound. For sound I have a JVC Th-L1 capable of HDMI surround sound. HDMI picture comes in fine with this set up. But no HDMI sound! I use it with my PS3. PS3 says that the source is not compatible for HDMI sound. ??? Oh, and I should mention that a digital optical cable works fine but not HDMI. My only guess is the PS3 ignores my surround sound and just reads the projector as the video and audio source. There for making it not compatible for HDMI. Like HDMI will only work if its hooked up to a HDMI capable tv. Anyone else have a Surround Sound and Projector setup like mine? Work? Not Work?  more

Resolved Question: Can a Benq DS550 dlp projector hook up to a DVD player?

I'm looking to purchase a projector to play DVD's and i'm not sure if this one will play them or not. I did find out that its compatable with video, but not component video, but I do not have a clue what this means. I am able to hook one up to a dvd player, ps2, or laptop. more

hi i have a benq projector pb6110 witch dosent have a hdmi slot, i have a ps3 with a hdmi cable but want to know where i can get a convertor for me to plug my hdmi cable into my projector the ports the projector has is 1 x VGA - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15) 1 x component video input - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15) 1 x S-video input - 4 pin mini-DIN 1 x composite video input - RCA 1 x audio line-in if someone could prvide me with a link of where to get the convertor i would be most gratefull, preferbaly a plce where u can pay via paypal or card more

I'm connecting my PS3 to my projector (Benq PB8260) using a HDMI/DVI adaptor but there is no picture. I have done everything that can be done such as holding the power button to reset it, getting a new HDMI cable, and even sending it into Sony. I know it isn't the cables or anything themselves because i connect the hdmi cable to another dvd player and it works just fine. If anyone could help me out i would be extremely grateful. I can connect it to regular cables and it works fine its just the HDMI that doesn't work. more

Resolved Question: Projector VGA out won't work! help!?

Im having trouble getting my projector(optoma EP719) to use the VGA Output. I have my LCD (BenQ FP91G+) hooked up to the VGA output from my projector. Powered both devices on and the lcd displays No Signal detected. The projector has video but won't output the video to my lcd. Ive tried adjusting the resolution of the projector to 1024x768 and still no video output to the lcd. Any help figuring this out would be appreciated. more
